All enthusiastic about our brilliant new idea, we can easily overlook thinks and make mistakes. Evaluate is a tool that catches such mistakes, provides an algorithmic and objective evaluation of an idea or project, and puts aspects like sustainability and ethicalness on the agenda of designers.

Evaluate is also a core project of my Global Innovation Design Master studies, in which I focus on decision-making and responsibility of innovators. You can read my Thesis on that topic here once I find time to upload it.

I started with research into human behaviour and decision-making (behavioural economics are a fascinating field, and I can only recommend everybody who wants to learn fascinating things about themselves to read Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman). In a next step I did several rounds of testing using simple paper-mockups, until I had learned enough to write the algorithm and code the website efficiently.
